The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– DVIDEND PROPOSAL The Supervisory Board has decided during todays meeting to propose the following dividend payment to the 7th Annual General Meeting of AT&S AG, which is to be held on July 5, 2001: From the retained earnings of EUR 79,088,586 a dividend of 20% and an additional bonus dividend of 3.64%, that is in total 23.64% of the registered share capital of EUR 30,800,000, that is EUR 7,2800,000 shall be paid to the shareholders. The residual profit of EUR 71,808,586 shall be carried forward to new accounts. Per share the dividend will therefore amount to EUR 0.26 (last years AT&S AG paid a dividend of EUR 0,22 per share).
