The issuer has the sole responsibility of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– NEW STATUTES FOR THE MANAGING BOARD OF AT&S AG In the supervisory board meeting on April 17, 2001 new statutes for the managing board of AT&S were approved. The managing board now consists of two board members, the CEO Willibald Dörflinger and the CFO Harald Sommerer. A new second operational vice president level of eight managers will report directly to the managing board Thru this new organisation the managing board can now increase its focus on strategic issues such as technology, new markets, merger & acquisition, and coordination functions. The vice presidents are in charge of the operational and functional affairs of the group (i.e. sales, technology, production, quality, supply chain management, controlling, administration and human resources). The former managing board members, Franz Rossler and Wilfried Stroissnigg, whose contracts have expired in the course of April, will take up the position of executive vice presidents in charge of the controlling and the production division.
