The order garnered by the subsidiary ATOSS CSD Software GmbH has been placed by the ALDI SÜD group of companies. ALDI SÜD intends to implement the ATOSS TIME CONTROL software solution throughout its entire branch network in Germany. The system will be used to control staff deployment planning at each of its branches. For ALDI SÜD, the most attractive feature of this program that operates in a Windows environment is the combination of central installation routines with decentralized deployment. For ATOSS Software AG, this major order is the largest to date in the wholesale and retail sector. It also confirms the position of ATOSS as a full-range supplier with the ability to offer solutions for companies of all sizes in all deployment scenarios. ATOSS CSD Software GmbH was acquired by ATOSS in the year 2000. The company offers software solutions in the field of intelligent personnel deployment both for SMEs as well as for large companies with a host of branches. ATOSS took over CSD specifically in order to complement its own product portfolio consisting of the ATOSS Staff Efficiency Suite and ATOSS Start Up Edition that are aimed mainly at medium to large companies with centralized installations. After an initial loss in 2000, CSD has consistently pursued a course of positive development, returning solid profit contributions in both of the last two financial years. Positive outlook unchanged for the current quarter The conclusion of this contract has further consolidated the excellent order situation at ATOSS. However, sales revenues deriving from the order with ALDI SÜD will not only continue to be realized in the current quarter, but throughout the entire financial year 2003. In the second quarter of 2003, ATOSS expects both sales and profits to show a significant improvement over the year before. This is further confirmation of the accuracy of the company’s forward planning for the year as a whole.
