ATOSS Software AG gains key follow-up order from Meyer Werft Corporate-news announcement sent by DGAP. The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– ATOSS Software AG gains key follow-up order from Meyer Werft Munich, June 12, 2003 – ATOSS Software AG (WKN 510440), the specialist for software and consulting solutions revolving around intelligent personnel deployment, has garnered a major follow-up order from Jos. L. Meyer GmbH (Meyer Werft), a client of many years standing, headquar-tered in Papenburg, Germany. Meyer Werft, one of the leading players on the worldwide market for cruise liners, has placed a follow-up order with ATOSS that reflects all the decisive aspects of the current ATOSS solution offerings, from consulting services, to the analysis and optimization of planning sequences all the way through to the implementation of ATOSS software solutions. Meyer Werft has been on the ATOSS client roster since 1993. To date, the company has established diverse links between working time management solutions and its own production planning applications. The follow-up order now placed entails in particular the introduction of ATOSS personnel deployment solutions that will be interacting tightly with the existing production planning and steering solutions in place at Meyer Werft. In this context, the new ATOSS module for “order-linked personnel deployment planning” will be playing a key role. The module enables the direct coordination of order related production planning and the required personnel resources. Meyer Werft expects that the newly created potential to deploy personnel resources with greater cost awareness, in connection with their transparent integration into the planning process, will generate additional and substantial productivity gains. “The fact that Meyer Werft has placed this order in this present time of crisis on the travel markets underscores the effectiveness of our approach of delivering corporate productivity enhancement driven by the intelligent control and steering of personnel resources,” states Andreas F.J. Obereder, founder and board chairman of ATOSS Software AG.
