ATOSS Software AG: Important Consulting Contract by Lufthansa Group – Outlook Corporate-news announcement sent by DGAP. The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– ATOSS Software AG awarded important consulting contract by Deutsche Lufthansa AG group company Munich, June 26, 2002 – ATOSS Software AG, Munich, the leading solutions provider in the field of Staff Efficiency Management (SEM), has been awarded an important contract for the provision of consulting services to a Deutsche Lufthansa AG group company. LSG Sky Chefs Deutschland has commissioned the Consulting Division of ATOSS Software AG to develop and implement flexible models for working hours and basic shift cycles. LSG Sky Chefs Deutschland is already a user of time management and staff deployment planning software derived from the ATOSS Staff Efficiency Suite. Introducing these high-flexibility working hours models and shift patterns will deliver a further significant increase in the efficiency of these solutions. The consulting contract which has now been awarded to ATOSS will optimize production-related resource and staff deployment planning at LSG Sky Chefs. In addition, the personnel deployment aspect of the management information system in place at LSG Sky Chefs Deutschland GmbH is to be redesigned. On the basis of ATOSS Decision Support, the management at LSG Sky Chefs Deutschland, hereby, will be handed a software solution in order to make informed decisions based on transparent access to personnel resources, planning and cost data. With a total value of over Eur 0,5 million, this represents a major service agreement that is scheduled to run through to early January 2003. In addition to the Consulting Division, all of the other Divisions of ATOSS Software AG will have a role to play. “This order once again confirms that our business model is the right one. ATOSS offers complete solutions comprising not just software, but also intelligent applications and consulting services specifically designed to optimize every aspect of the staff deployment process. In the present difficult market environment in particular, our full-service approach to optimized personnel deployment solutions coupled with the rapid pay-back from our projects puts us in a strong position and helps ATOSS Software AG to set itself off from its competitors,” commented ATOSS CEO, Andreas F.J. Obereder. Despite the weak market environment, ATOSS Software AG anticipates for Q2 to continue the stabilization in sales and operating results since Q3 2001. The Company expects sales for Q2 to come in at a similar level to that achieved in the first quarter. Furthermore, ATOSS Software AG anticipates operating results for Q2 to show a continuation of its stabilisation course since Q3 2001. Both sales and operating profits are expected to show a significant improvement over the same period last year. In light of the overall positiv development of ATOSS Software AG, the Company sees no fundamental reason for the retreat of the ATOSS share price over the last couple of days. In particular, the Company reiterates that despite an equity margin of approximately 90% and a continued significantly positive cash flow, the ATOSS share is currently quoted well below the value of its liquide funds. For the 2002 year as a whole, ATOSS anticipates a steady, if gradual, growth in sales coupled with a clear improvement in results.
