The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– ATOSS Software AG: awarded another consulting contract by Deutsche Lufthansa AG group company; Outlook remains positiv Munich, July 18, 2002 – ATOSS Software AG, Munich, the leading solutions provider in the field of Staff Efficiency Management (SEM), has been awarded another contract for the provision of consulting services to a Deutsche Lufthansa AG group company. Lufthansa Cargo has commissioned the Consulting Division of ATOSS Software AG to develop flexible models for working hours and basic shift cycles. Just a few weeks after a similar contract with a total contract volume of over Eur 0,5 million by LSG Sky Chefs Deutschland, this contract extents the consultancy work to Lufthansa Cargo. The consulting contract which has now been awarded to ATOSS has a total contract volume of Eur 0,2 million and potentially leads to a follow up contract regarding the implementation of aforementioned models for working hours and basic shift cycles within Lufthansa Cargo. The consulting contract which has now been awarded to ATOSS will optimize production-related resource and staff deployment planning at Lufthansa Cargo. Lufthansa Cargo is already a user of time management and staff deployment planning software derived from the ATOSS Staff Efficiency Suite. Introducing these high-flexibility working hours models and shift patterns will deliver a further significant increase in the efficiency of these solutions. Outlook remains positiv Despite the unchanged difficult market environment, ATOSS Software AG reconfirms its positiv outlook for this year. Just like last year, ATOSS voluntarily decided to have its half year results being reviewed by its auditors in order to facilitate the year end auditing process as well as to enhance investor confidence in ATOSS as a truly transparent company at the Neuer Markt. Although half year figures are, therefore, not yet final, ATOSS anticipates for Q2 to continue the stabilization in sales and operating results. The Company expects sales for Q2 to come in at a similar level to the first quarter (Eur 5,4 million). Furthermore, ATOSS Software AG anticipates operating results for Q2 to show a stabilisation of its positiv operating results in Q1. Both sales and operating profits are expected to show a significant improvement over the same period last year.
