AENEIS is a leading software technology for analyzing, modeling, and optimizing business processes. The market leader is currently IDS Scheer AG, Saarbrücken, with sales of DM 170 million. “By integrating AENEIS into our TARIS product line for strategic management of work and time, we will become the first provider world-wide of a holistic methodology for constant optimization of human resource deployment. The software came with a price tag of some DM 4 million and enable us in the long term to lock into significant technology potential in an exceptionally dynamic market of tomorrow,” states Andreas F. J. Obereder, CEO of ATOSS AG . With the acquisition of AENEIS, ATOSS has now emerged as the only provider to offer clients a one-stop solution which extends from identification of workflow optimization to effective implementation of the findings. With AENEIS, which is used by over 600 companies, ATOSS Software AG has also taken on the development and sales team. AENEIS clients include such renowned corporations as Adam Opel AG, Hoechst AG and the Messe Frankfurt trade fair company. Most recently, ATOSS succeeded in boosting sales by 67 percent and reported earnings for first-quarter 2000 that were well above target. As a result of the acquisition the Management Board of ATOSS anticipates that sales and earnings growth as of 2001 will accelerate still further.
