ATOSS Software AG, Munich, the leading provider of staff efficiency management software solutions, has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Bosch group’s Security Technology Division in Ottobrunn. ATOSS believes that the cooperation agreement will have a significant effect on the sales figures for indirect marketing in the current year, and lead to a noticeable increase starting next year. The Bosch group’s Security Technology Division has a product portfolio that features fire alarm systems, attack and break-in alarms, security control stations, management and CCTV monitoring systems, as well as time management and access control systems. This division of the Bosch group comprises seven regional distribution branches in Germany, with 75 regional sales offices. It has 65 000 leasing and maintenance contracts at this time. The cooperation agreement with ATOSS Software AG envisages that Bosch will market ATOSS Software’s “Time Solution” product, which includes time management and access control, under the BoTime3 name. Three versions with different functions will be offered. ATOSS will cooperate with Bosch on the implementation of further software modules in the areas of staff deployment planning and project management in particular, if existing software does not meet the requirements of Bosch’s customers. “Thanks to the Bosch group’s focus on security technology solutions, we believe that we shall be able to reach new target groups which were closed to us in the past”, said Andreas F. J. Obereder, the chairman and founder of ATOSS. Moreover, he expects that the combined efforts of Bosch and ATOSS will win additional market share at the expense of competitors such as Interflex GmbH, Stuttgart, which belongs to the US-listed Ingersoll Rand Group. Bosch will launch the product on the market at the end of April. The Bosch group’s Security Technology Division operates worldwide as well as in Germany, and, starting with Benelux and Austria, will also be introducing the product outside Germany.
