ATOSS Software AG: Continued growth, strong first quarter in 2007
Munich, April 17, 2007 – Provisional figures for Q1 2007 point to a very
strong operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 0.9 million on sales of EUR 5.7
million (previous year: EUR 0.7 million EBIT on sales of EUR 5.1 million).
It should also be considered that the first quarter result for 2006 was
boosted by extraordinary earnings of some EUR 0.4 million. EBIT expressed
as the return on sales in Q1 2007 reached 15 % (previous year: 14 %).
Sales in the first quarter grew by 12 % overall. Software licensing sales
rose by 8 % from EUR 1.1 the year before to EUR 1.2 million in the first
quarter of 2007. Maintenance revenues climbed by 11 % to EUR 2.2 million
(previous year: EUR 2.0 million). Similarly, consulting sales also came in
11 % higher at EUR 1.5 million (previous year: EUR 1.3 million)The company
recorded a substantial increase in operating profit (EBIT) in Q1 2007,
which rose by 23 % to stand at EUR 0.9 million. After adjustment for income
of EUR 0.4 million from the sale of the software product AENEIS in the
first quarter of 2006, operating profits actually trebled.
