ATOSS Software AG: Further growth expected after strong first half in 2007
– Forecast raised

Munich, July 9, 2007 – Provisional figures for the second quarter and first
half of 2007 demonstrate strong growth in turnover. Sales for the first
half of 2007 came in at EUR 11.7 million (previous year: EUR 10.4
million),representing a clear increase of 12 percent. In Q2 alone sales
amounted to EUR 5.9 million, also 12 percent on the year before (EUR 5.3
million).

The strong growth in software licensing is particularly pleasing: Sales in
this business area in the first half of 2007 amounted to EUR 2.5 million,
up 19 percent over the year before (EUR 2.1 million). The figure of EUR 1.3
million recorded in Q2 was actually 30 percent up on the previous year (EUR
1.0 million).

What’s more, orders on hand for software licenses in the first half year
rose by 17 percent from EUR 1.3 million last year to EUR 1.5 million. The
result has been to further consolidate the basis on which the company
projects its forecasts.

Against the background of this strong development in sales, the company
reports a further marked improvement in operating profits (EBIT) for both
Q2 and the first half of 2007 and is raising its forecast accordingly for
the year as a whole. Operating profits (EBIT) for the first half of 2007
increased by 46 percent to EUR 1.9 million (prev. year EUR 1.3 million,
inc. extraordinary income of EUR 0.4 million) and in Q2 alone operating
profits (EBIT) increased by 73 percent to EUR 1.0 million (prev. year EUR
0.6 million).

The company now expects operating profits (EBIT) in financial year 2007 to
reach at least EUR 3.0 million (previous year: EUR 2.8 million, inc.
extraordinary income of EUR 0.4 million).

A press release detailing the complete figures for the first six months of
the current financial year will be published on July 26, 2007.
