ATOSS Software AG: Strong year end buisiness with positive earnings effect

Ad hoc announcement transmitted by DGAP. The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— According to the initial analysis of business figures for the fourth quarter of 2005, ATOSS Software AG expects to considerably exceed analyst estimations due to gratifying developments in year-end business. With a look to the fourth quarter of 2005, the company is expecting total sales of EUR 5.8 million that are above the previous year’s level (prior year: EUR 5.5 million). According to initial analyses, especially the software sales have considerably improved over the previous quarters of the year 2005 and have reached the past year’s level (previous year: EUR 1.3 million). Contrary to analysts’ sales estimations of EUR 19.5 million, the company expects to post total annual sales amounting to EUR 20.4 million for the business year elapsed (previous year: EUR 21.8 million). Based on the positive year end business, the company also expects to considerably exceed the analysts’ EBIT expectation of EUR – 0.4 million, and to generate decidedly positive earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) – which will, however, as originally anticipated be considerably lower than the prior year figure (EUR 1.2 million). The company will present detailed preliminary figures for 2005 and an outlook for 2006 on January 31, 2006.
