ATOSS Software AG: Higher forecast based on large orders

The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— As a result of having secured significant orders in the software license area and their anticipated effect on operating profits (EBIT), ATOSS Software AG is raising its earnings forecast for the business year 2006 from the at least € 1.7 million to now at least € 2.3 million. As a consequence, the Company will now clearly exceed the operating profit (EBIT) achieved in 2005 (€ 0.6 million) and 2004 (€ 1.2 million). The background to this is formed by larger software license orders for the Java(J2EE) based ATOSS ASES 3.3, which will largely be realized within the current year, as well as beyond. On April 27, 2006 and as part of the Shareholders’ General Meeting on May 2, 2006, the Company had already raised its forecast for the current financial year and indicated at the same time that further upgrades might be possible through a continuation of the pleasing business development and in particular as a result of major new orders in the software license area. On the basis of the new forecast the Company now anticipates an EBIT margin of at least 11% and an operating result (EBIT) for the current year of at least € 2.3 million. It should be noted that the Company hereby is continuing its conservative forecasting policy that it has employed to date, so that further upgrades are possible if business continues to develop successfully and, in particular, if larger orders arise in the software license area.
