Munich, June 26, 2001. New Sales and Marketing Head at ATOSS Munich, 26 June In the course of the company’s planned strategic orientation, ATOSS Software AG has made new changes in its board of management. Internationalization and channel development will be driven ahead with a full head of steam. The further orientation of the company thus far known for its time management system is advancing more than ever in the direction of marketing complete solutions in the Staff Efficiency Management (SEM) segment at the upper management level. In order to realize this ambitious expansion strategy, ATOSS AG was able to enlist the support of Christiane Glöckler (44), a very successful manager in the area of software sales and marketing. Christiane Glöckler will become the new head of Sales & Marketing as of July 1, 2001. She replaces Bernhard M. Auer (60), who took over the temporary task last year of heading up classic direct sales as well as responsibility for strategically refocusing the areas of “indirect sales” and “key account management” not to mention establishing sales structures in France. As the last two quarters have shown, this was a task that was mastered with more than a little success. Christiane Glöckler was formerly the business manager of Autodesk GmbH in Munich and, as a regional director, her purview was “Central Europe”. Autodesk USA (Autodesk Inc., San Rafael, California) is one of the world’s four largest PC software manufacturers and leads the market in the area of computer-aided design (CAD) better known under the product name “AutoCAD”. In her seven years of work at Autodesk she started out as a sales head with a handful of salespeople in 1994 and moved “Central Europe”, with DM 160 million in sales in the year 2000 and 100 staff, into the top group of the most successful corporate regions worldwide. Christiane Glöckler was similarly successful at Xerox Engineering Systems again, a US IT company, from 1991 to 1994. The “indirect sales” division which she completely overhauled was the most successful in Europe and recently accounted for more than 50% of sales in Germany. Before that, she was able to earn her wings as one of the first female sales managers at Hewlett-Packard from 1987 1991, where she was responsible for providing support to major customers such as BMW, MAN, AUDI and others. “By appointing Christiane Glöckler as the new head of our Sales & Marketing division, ATOSS AG plans to successfully master its ambitious aims in the coming years.” (Andreas F.J. Obereder). The responsibilities of the other members of the board of management remain unchanged: Chairman of the board, Andreas F. J. Obereder, is responsible for Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Finances and Personnel while board member Dr. Burkhard Scherf continues to head the Research and Development, Consulting & IT Services divisions.
