Change in the number of shares and votes in Atlas Copco AB
Nacka, Sweden, May 31, 2022: During May 2022, the number of outstanding shares in Atlas Copco AB increased from 1,229,613,104 to 6,148,065,520 and the number of votes from 878,415,996.80 to 4,392,079,984.00. The change is a result of the share split resolved by the Annual General Meeting on April 26, 2022, whereby each existing share was split in four (4) ordinary shares and one (1) redemption share. The redemption shares will be automatically redeemed, and the number of outstanding shares will decrease accordingly.
Following the split, there were 4,196,970,480 series A shares in the company and 1,951,095,040 series B shares, of which 1,229,613,104 were redemption shares. 13,132,693 redemption shares that were held by the Company have been cancelled.
Outstanding redemption shares resulting from the share split will under the resolution by the Annual General Meeting automatically be redeemed by the company for SEK 8 per share. Trading in the redemption shares began on Nasdaq Stockholm on May 18, 2022 and is estimated to continue up to and including June 1, 2022. Record day for receipt of redemption shares was May 16, 2022. Payment of the redemption amount will be done on or around June 13, 2022.
Upon the completed redemption the number of shares and votes in Atlas Copco AB will be 4,918,452,416 shares and 3,513,663,987.20 votes.
