Atlas Copco acquires Czech compressor service company

Stockholm, Sweden, September 8, 2009: Atlas Copco s.r.o. has acquired Servis A.C. s.r.o., a privately owned compressor service provider in North Moravia in the Czech Republic, to further strengthen the presence and service to customers in the area.

The acquisition of Servis A.C. also provides an opportunity for increased sales of compressed air equipment and aftermarket products in the region, which is an important center for industrial activity in the Czech Republic with general industries, mining, steel plants, automotive and chemical industry.

Servis A.C., which has 10 employees and annual revenues of about MSEK 10, will be integrated with Atlas Copco's division Compressor Technique Service.

Compressor Technique Service is a division within Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique business area. It provides a complete range of aftermarket services with the aim to maximize customers' productivity.
