During December 2025, the airport's passenger traffic amounted to 2.31 million, 8.4% higher than December 2024. Domestic and international passengers surpassed the 2024 levels by 5.5% and 9.6%, respectively.

Overall, on an annual basis for 2025, the airport's passenger traffic reached 34 million, above the 2024 levels by 6.7%. Analytically, domestic and international passengers surpassed the 2024 levels by 2.2% and 8.6%, respectively.

Athens International Airport's number of flights for year 2025 amounted to 283,589, i.e. 5.7% above the 2024 levels. Both domestic and international flights were above the 2024 volumes by 1.3% and 8.7%, respectively.
