SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION
The securities of Athena Resources Limited (the “Company”) will be suspended from quotation immediately, at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement in relation to a proposed capital raising.

VOLUNTARY SUSPENSION REQUEST Athena Resources Limited (ASX Code: AHN) (Company )
Further to the Company’s request of 30 July 2014 for the Company’s securities to be placed in trading halt, the Directors of the Company hereby request that the Company’s securities be placed in voluntary suspension in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.2 pending release of an announcement in relation to a proposed capital raising.
The Company requests that the voluntary suspension end at the commencement of trading on Wednesday 6 August 2014, or on the date the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted, or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the voluntary suspension.
