The Directors of Athena Resources Limited (ASX Code: AHN) hereby request a trading halt of the Company’s securities.

The trading halt is requested until an announcement is made to the market with respect to a proposed capital raising.

This announcement is expected to be made before the commencement of trading on Thursday, 17 February 2011.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
