Notification under the General Shareholding Disclosure Obligations

Following the purchase of 350,000 shares on June 2,

2010, accounts managed by Harris Associates L.P.

became the beneficial owners of 4,799,200 shares of

Atea ASA. This represents 5.01% of the company and

an increase above the 5% substantial shareholder

filing threshold.
