Atea listed among Europe's Climate Leaders 2026

Atea listed among Europe's Climate Leaders 2026

Atea has been included in the Europe's Climate Leaders 2026 list, published by

the Financial Times in collaboration with Statista. This marks the fifth time

Atea has received this recognition, reflecting the company's continued work to

reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve climate transparency.

The Europe's Climate Leaders 2026 list recognizes European companies that have

reduced their greenhouse gas emissions intensity and meet additional climate

-related criteria. For the 2026 edition, the assessment considers reductions in

Scope 1 and 2 emissions intensity, absolute emissions reductions, Scope 3

transparency, CDP performance and science-based climate targets.

"Being recognized among Europe's Climate Leaders again is an acknowledgment of

the work carried out across Atea to reduce emissions and strengthen climate

governance. We remain focused on reducing our own impact while supporting

customers and partners in the transition to more sustainable IT," said Steinar

Sønsteby, CEO of Atea.

Atea's climate work includes science-based emissions reduction targets, a

transition plan toward net-zero emissions, and continued efforts to extend the

lifetime of IT equipment through reuse, repair and take-back services.
