Perfect World et Atari annoncent un accord pour l'acquisition de Cryptic Studios

Beijing, Chine, le 31 mai 2011 – Perfect World Co. Ltd (NASDAQ : PWRD) (« Perfect World »), un leader du développement et de la gestion de jeux online basé en Chine, et Atari S.A. (NYSE Euronext Paris : ATA), annoncent la signature d'un accord par lequel Perfect World acquiert 100% de Cryptic Studios, Inc. (« Cryptic Studios »), un studio californien de développement de jeux online auprès d'Atari S.A, son unique actionnaire. Selon les termes de cet accord (« Stock Purchase Agreement »), Perfect World paiera un prix global d'environ 35 millions d'euros, en numéraire, pouvant être ajusté des besoins en fonds de roulement ou d'autres ajustements conformément aux termes de l'accord. La réalisation des transactions envisagées dans cet accord est conditionnée à la satisfaction d'un certain nombre de conditions de finalisation.
