ANNUAL AND SPECIAL SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 Shareholders approve all resolutions save number 12 (absence of a quorum)
Lyon, France, September 30, 2009 - Atari announced that its annual and special shareholders' meeting met on September 30, 2009 under the quorum conditions required by law, with holders of 1,294,851,046 shares or 31.74% of those outstanding present or represented.
As no quorum was present to vote on resolution 12 ("Approval of the regulated agreements between The BlueBay High Yield Investments (Luxembourg) S.a.r.l. and BlueBay Asset Management plc and/or their affiliates and the Company"), a second shareholders' meeting will be convened on October 19, 2009 at 10am Paris time in Atari's Paris office to vote on this resolution.
All other resolutions were approved by the shareholders.
Atari also indicated that Michel Combes will leave his Director functions as of October 1st, 2009, due to other commitments. As of October 1st 2009, the board will be comprised of:
- Frank E. Dangeard, Chairman,
- Dominique D'Hinnin, Vice-Chairman (independent director),
- Pascal Cagni (independent director),
- David Gardner, director and Chief Executive Officer
- Gina Germano, director
- Phil Harrison, director
- Didier Lamouche (independent director),
- The BlueBay Value Recovery (Master) Fund Limited, represented by Jeff Lapin, Chief Operating Officer.
