Explanatory Note

This Form 8-K/A is being filed as an amendment (“Amendment No. 1”) to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by AstroNova, Inc. (the “Company”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 27, 2017 (the “Original Filing”). The sole purpose of this Amendment No. 1 is to provide as Exhibit 10.1 hereto a corrected copy of the Company’s Amended and Restated Employee Stock Purchase Plan, which was approved by the Company’s Board of Directors on November 20, 2017.
