On January 31, 2012, Astro-Med, Inc. (the “Registrant”) announced the divestiture of its label manufacturing operations in Asheboro, North Carolina. The sale was made to the original owners of Label Line, Ltd. A copy of the Registrant’s press release regarding the foregoing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
