Donald Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (100% controlled by Astron Limited) (DMS)
DMS owns EL4432, EL4433, EL5255, EL5263, EL5353 and MIN5532 which together comprise the Donald Mineral Sands Project (Donald Project).
Donald Project
PRODUCTION
During the quarter the Donald Project did not conduct any production activities.
DEVELOPMENT
During the quarter, the development of the Donald continued with the following being undertaken:
Feasibility study
Work continued on the definitive feasibility study, including further work on more accurately defining operating and capital expenditure. Cost studies are being undertaken for a potential alternative plan with some plant located in China.
Exploration
Awaiting laboratory reports from sample analysis taken at the Jackson drilling site.
Work Plan

The Cultural Heritage Management Plan was finalised during the half year and is now ready for submission to the Barengi Gadin Land Council for review and approval. It is expected the work plan will be submitted shortly.

Native Vegetation Offset management plans were undertaken during the half year and will be finalised in 2013.
Purchase of land
In March 2013, DMS purchased 3 pieces of land; 214 Funckes Road, Laen School Road and Donald Murtoa Road for $1,656,414. These blocks include the mining licence area where the process plant will be located as well as some land that is adjacent to the mining licence.
Funding
An agreement has been signed with Goldman Sachs, to assist with funding for the project.

During the quarter the Niafarang Project did not conduct any production activities.
