Further to the Production and Exploration Report released by Astron on 30-Apr-2013, Astron confirms that Goldman Sachs has been appointed as sole financial adviser/ structuring arranger to Astron and DMS in relation to their exploration of funding alternatives for the Donald Mineral Sands project. Goldman Sachs’ role may include, amongst other things, assisting Astron and DMS with their consideration of the potential sale of a strategic interest in the project. For the avoidance of doubt, Goldman Sachs has not signed an agreement to provide funding for the Donald Mineral Sands project.
