On 28 March 2013, Pascal Soriot, a Director of the Company notified us that, on 28 March 2013, he acquired an interest in 42,500 AstraZeneca PLC Ordinary Shares of $0.25 each at a price of 3292 pence per share.

Following this purchase, Mr Soriot has a total interest in 188,015 AstraZeneca shares.
