3 Brief Profile Dr. Sandeep Arora, a healthcare professional with over 20 years
of experience in Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines, Medical Devices,
and the broader Healthcare Industry.
He currently serves as the Head of Medical Affairs and Patient
Services at Takeda India, where he has been leading medical
strategies and patient-centric initiatives since 2019. Prior to this,
he was the Regional Medical Director for Terumo Intervention
Systems, Asia Pacific, and served as the Director of Medical and
Clinical Affairs at Terumo India, managing medical functions
across diverse markets.
With a strong background in Medical Affairs, he has managed
diverse therapy portfolios, including Oncology, Hematology,
Gastrointestinal and Inflammatory Disorders, Rare Diseases,
Interventional Medicine, Vaccines, Cardiovascular, Metabolic,
and Respiratory therapies. His expertise extends to leading
teams in Medical Affairs and Clinical Trials, designing, and
implementing disease-concept strategies, addressing care gaps,
and generating evidence through disease insights and clinical
development.
A trained medical doctor and pharmaceutical physician, he
earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College,
University of Delhi, and completed an Executive Management
program at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He
is a Board-Certified Medical Affairs Specialist (US) and holds
ECFMG certification in Medical Science and Clinical Skills
(US).
