PRESS RELEASE

Company has recorded Rs.97.37 cr of sales and loss of Rs.1.52cr for the quarter ended 30/06/2020 as compared to Rs.30.26 cr of sales and loss of Rs.10.71 for the corresponding quarter of previous year. Most of the sales during the quarter are exports which explains negative profit for the period. Company is expects to do Rs.130 cr worth of sales for second quarter with exports dominating the mix.

Company booked Rs.137.45 cr worth of orders during quarter 1 and ended with Rs.1,373.65 cr of order book. Concluded crucial contracts including Akash (7 sqns) order for various sub-systems worth Rs.93 cr, Shakti sub-systems worth Rs.5.62 c and MMIC based Kuband receiver for space use worth Rs.3.33 cr. -

As of today Company has 1,639 cr worth of orders on hand with a break-up of Rs.953 cr for exports and rest domestic. Within the domestic Rs.379 cr is from defence, Rs.234 cr from space and rest from Metrology and other sectors. Most of these orders are executable in the next 18 to 24 months.

The Company expects to book further Rs.375cr to Rs.400 cr worth of order during rest of the year and is confident to cross Rs.500 cr sates for the year.

Company is taking adequate steps to take advantage of recent Government decisions to encourage domestic defence industry in supply of critical defence supplies for armed forces.

COVID-19 impact on operations of Company is under control and expects to sail through without major hurdles.
