Assystem Share Capital Reduced by 6.79% by Cancelling Treasury Shares

In accordance with the authorisation granted by shareholders in the ninth resolution approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting on 15 May 2008 (Authorisation granted to the Management Board to cancel shares purchased under the share buyback programmes authorised by the General Meeting), the Management Board decided on 24 November 2008 to reduce the Company's share capital by $\epsilon$ 1,500,000 by cancelling 1,500,000 treasury shares, representing 6.79% of issued capital.
Share capital now amounts to $\epsilon$ 20,601,527, divided into 20,601,527 ordinary shares, each with a par value of $\notin$ 1 00
$\blacksquare$ The capital reduction has not had any impact on the amount of consolidated equity. It has, however, increased the interest of 7.28% held by each shareholder, as analysed in the following table-
