(b) On September 24, 2015, Assurant, Inc. (the "Company") announced that Christopher J. Pagano, Assurant’s executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, is to be named chief risk officer. Assurant has begun an external search for a chief financial officer and treasurer to succeed Mr. Pagano, who will remain in his current role until a successor is in place. A copy of the Company’s September 24, 2015 news release announcing this event is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
