On April 6, 2011, Associated Banc-Corp issued a news release announcing the completion of its repurchase of an aggregate of $262.5 million of the $525 million of the Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A, par value $1.00 per share, that it issued to the U.S. Treasury as part of the U.S. Treasury’s Capital Purchase Program. A copy of the news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
