ENTITLEMENT ISSUE RAISES $1.83M

Windy Knob Resources Limited (‘Windy Knob’ or ‘the Company’) is delighted to advise that its 1-for-1 pro-rata non-renounceable entitlements issue to shareholders (the Entitlements Issue) has been very well supported by its shareholders in the current difficult environment for raising capital.

Take up by shareholders represented 61% of the Entitlements Issue. The directors, along with the Manager to the Offer, Alto Capital (AFSL 279099) have been able to place 3,910,469 shares through the shortfall of the offer, to raise a total of $1,838,433 before costs were raised under the offer.

We refer to ASX’s letter dated 20 June 2008 granting conditional approval of quotation of 31,250,005 fully paid ordinary shares (Shares) and 31,250,005 options exercisable at $0.20 each

on or before 31 December 2009 (Options: WKRO) and provide the following information:

1. A total of 22,980,416 Shares and 22,980,416 Options were allotted and issued on 30 June 2008 pursuant to the Entitlements Issue. They have been allocated into the issuer sponsored sub-register, and quotation of the Shares and Options on ASX is now sought;

Windy Knob continues to concentrate its efforts on the Antioquia region of northern Colombia with the specific aim of exploring for Copper Gold porphyry deposits. The company expects to be able to release the first set of drill results from the drill program (see ASX announcement dates 16 May 2008) in the September quarter.
