Aspen Group (ASX: APZ) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Aspen Group (‘APZ’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of APZ, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 23 August 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Aspen Group Limited – Request for Trading Halt

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Aspen Group Limited (ABN 50 004 160 927) and Evolution Trustees Limited (ABN 29 611 839 519) as responsible entity of the Aspen Property Trust (ARSN 104 807 767) (together, Aspen Group ) (ASX: APZ) requests that a trading halt be placed on the Aspen Group stapled securities with immediate effect.

The trading halt is requested pending an announcement by Aspen Group in connection with an equity raising to be undertaken by way of an institutional placement ( Placement ) and a security purchase plan.

Aspen Group requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of:

1. an announcement being made about the completion of the Placement; or

2. the commencement of trading on 20 August 2021.

Aspen Group is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
