SALE OF ROCKLEA BUILDING
Aspen Group is pleased to announce that it has executed an unconditional contract for the sale of its Heaton Street, Rocklea industrial building in Queensland for $7.35m (plus GST), with settlement scheduled to occur on 15 May 2012.
The sale price is a discount to the current book value of $8.1 million, however the asset was deemed as non-core for the Aspen portfolio and requires capital expenditure in the short term. As the building has been vacant since August 2011, its disposal represents a positive outcome with respect to the capital management efficiency of the Group.
