Appointment of interim CEO

Aspen Group (ASX: APZ) advises that its Managing Director, Mr Gavin Hawkins, has tendered his resignation as a director from all Group companies.

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Frank Zipfinger, thanked Mr Hawkins for his contribution to the Group which had extended over 11 years since formation. “Gavin has provided outstanding service for the Group and has been a dedicated and energetic leader. As a co-founder of the Group in 2001, he has displayed an entrepreneurial spirit in growing the business. In recent years, as Managing Director he has assisted in addressing legacy issues that required resolution to place the business on a stronger footing for the future.

“We extend our sincere best wishes to Gavin for the future.”

Mr Zipfinger advised that whilst a national search for a replacement Chief Executive Officer is conducted, Mr Hugh Martin, a Non Executive Director of the Group, will assume the interim CEO position, with the strong support of the executive team.
