Update re: LaunchMyCareer Holdings Plc ("LMCH")

Asimilar Group plc (AIM: ASLR), the AIM quoted investing company focused on technology opportunities in the fields of big data, machine learning, telematics and the Internet of Things (IoT), notes the announcement made this morning by LMCH (formerly Dev Clever Limited), informing shareholders of its decision to present a winding-up petition to the court.  Furthermore, LMCH's wholly owned subsidiary, LaunchMyCareeer Limited ("LMC") has also commenced a voluntary winding-up process.

Asimilar has an interest in 72.3 million ordinary shares in LMCH representing approximately 8.5% of LMCH's issued share capital. 

The carrying value of the investment in LMCH was held at 2p per share at the last stated accounts of Asimilar in March 2023.  The Group's NAV as reported at the interim accounts on 30 June 2023 was 4.67p.
