Capital Markets Presentation

As announced yesterday Ashtead Group plc is holding a capital markets event in Atlanta, Georgia for analysts and investors. The capital markets presentation today will launch the next phase of the Group's strategy, Sunbelt 4.0, a five-year plan covering the Group's ongoing growth and expansion plans following the successful execution of our Sunbelt 3.0 campaign.  The presentation will deliver detailed insight on the five actionable components of the new plan:

Customer: Elevate our obsession with customer service and their success throughout the organization to a level unparalleled in the broader service sector;
Growth: Grow General Tool and Specialty through the ongoing structural progression in our business and industry, and advance our clusters to deepen our presence and increase our total addressable markets;
Performance: Operate with greater efficiency through scale, process and technology to unlock margin progression;
Sustainability: Advance our position as a thriving, growing enterprise to deliver long-term sustainable value for our people, customers, communities and investors; and
Investment: Disciplined capital allocation driving profitable growth, strong cash generation and enhanced shareholder value.

The presentation will detail our plans to deliver continued strong revenue growth, improving margins and return on investment and strong free cash flow generation.  This, combined with the Group's new target leverage range of 1.0 to 2.0 times net debt to EBITDA (pre IFRS16), will provide significant flexibility to allocate capital in accordance with our long-term priorities and focus on driving shareholder value.

In addition, we are announcing new sustainability targets including an aim to be net zero by 2050 and to reduce our GHG intensity 50% by 2034.

The event will be hosted by Brendan Horgan, CEO, and Michael Pratt, CFO, together with a number of the senior management team from across the Group.

The presentation will commence at 1.00pm ET / 6.00pm BST.  A link to the event site is available via the Group's website at www.ashtead-group.com/investors/results-centre/webcasts . Anyone wishing to attend the event is encouraged to register on this site at least 15 minutes before it commences.  A playback facility will be available shortly after the presentation ends.

Brendan Horgan, CEO of Ashtead, said: "As we sunset the successful execution of Sunbelt 3.0 and look to the years ahead, we set out today another ambitious five-year plan to deliver strong growth, improving margins and returns and strong free cash flow generation, while embracing our sustainability agenda, for the benefit of all our stakeholders."
