Ascential plc ("the Company" / LSE: ASCL.L) has received notification of the following transactions by its Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Painter and its Chief Financial Officer, Mandy Gradden. 

Duncan Painter and Mandy Gradden have each been granted an Option over 9,944 ordinary shares under the Company's Employee Savings Related Share Option plan.  Options are ordinarily exercisable for a period of six months following the end of a three year savings contract and subject to the payment of an exercise price per share under option of 181p.
