Ascential plc ("the Company" / LSE: ASCL.L) has today received notification of the following transactions by its Executive Directors, Duncan Painter and Mandy Gradden. 

After payment of the Ascential plc interim dividend on 29 September 2017, the trustees of the Ascential plc Employee Share Incentive Plan ("SIP") reinvested the dividend in further shares under the terms of the SIP on behalf of Mandy Gradden and Duncan Painter.  

Duncan Painter has purchased 2 shares and has a resultant holding of 3,551,029 shares, 0.89% of ordinary shares in issue.  Mandy Gradden has purchased 2 shares and has a resultant holding of 771,780 ordinary shares, 0.19% of ordinary shares in issue.
