Significant Shareholder
Ascent Resources Plc (LON: AST) the onshore Caribbean, Hispanic American and European energy and natural resources company, announces that, on 3 August 2020, the Company was notified of the following changes to Riverfort Global Opportunities PCC Ltd's ("Riverfort") holding in the capital of the Company:
i. on 25 March 2020, due to a disposal of voting rights, Riverfort's holding reduced to 2,400,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p each, representing 5.97% of the Company's then issued share capital;
ii. on 8 April 2020, due to a disposal of voting rights, Riverfort's holding reduced to 1,700,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p each, representing 4.23% of the Company's then issued share capital; and
iii. on 5 May 2020, Riverfort's holding remained at 1,700,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p each, however due to an issue of equity changing the breakdown of voting rights, Riverfort's holding represented 2.99% of the Company's issued share capital.
The relevant TR1 disclosures will be released in parallel with this announcement.
