Artemis Resources Limited (“Artemis” or “the Company”) (ASX:ARV, Frankfurt, U.S. OTC:ARTTF) is pleased to announce that drilling has recommenced at the company’s 100% owned Carlow Castle Au-Cu-Co Project in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The objective of this air core programme of ≈5,000m is to target definition of strike extensions to the east and west of the existing drilling ( Figure 1 ). Results from this programme, along with previously undertaken sub-audio magnetics (SAM), surface mapping and geochemistry will be used to focus the next round of resource development drilling, scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2019.

The company is also currently undertaking a new resource update for Carlow Castle. Though originally expected to be reported in December 2018, the ≈24,000m of drill data has taken additional time to consolidate and as such the new resource is now expected in early 2019.

“This drill programme is testing strike extensions to the east and west of the existing 1.2km of strike drilled at Carlow Castle to date and provides Artemis with a running start into 2019.

The next stage of resource development post the release of the resource update will include a targeted RC and diamond programme to provide additional samples for geotechnical, structural and metallurgical test work.”
