Artemis Resources Limited (ASX Code: ARV) (Artemis or the Company) is pleased to advise that it has completed a capital raising of $1.475 million (before costs) through the issue of 19,666,667 shares at 7.5 cents per share.

The placement has seen significant institutional support from London, New York and Australia.

As previously advised funds raised will be used for:

• Gold production at Nickol River¹ - Treatment Plant scheduled to be operational by the end of March 2017.

• Carlow Castle drilling for Cobalt, Copper, Gold²

• Weerianna Gold Project trenching and follow up drilling³

• Silica Hills and Purdy’s Reward exploration⁴

The commodities in the Artemis portfolio include platinum, palladium, nickel, copper, cobalt, zinc and gold. Cobalt is a key component in the growing EV and energy storage market, a focus for the Company.

In addition to the issue above, the Company has issued a further 1,333,333 shares at a deemed price of 7.5 cents per share in full and final settlement of short term loan facilities of $100,000 put in place in late 2016. The company is now debt free.
