artec develops Stealth Protection Shield

artec technologies AG (WKN 520958), a manufacturer of high tech software systems for recording and analysis of AV and data in media networks, is developing an innovative Stealth Protection Shield for surveillance applications. This can support safety against intrusions at industrial sites, buildings and storage areas.

Thomas Hoffmann, CEO of artec, says: “We combine several types of sensors to generate an invisible shield. Any intrusion will be automatically located on a map in the control room. The system can generate alarms or other automated reaction. Video cameras locate the area for assessment and sirens or spotlights can be activated. Networked sensors and a mission control support system combine into one seamless solution for an automated surveillance system. We see many applications in perimeter surveillance, production control and security of exhibits and storage areas.”

This technology system is day/night operational and does not employ any emitting active elements.

Hoffmann continues: “This is a long awaited innovative solution for many surveillance applications!”
