artec technologies AG strengthens market position in Qatar

Diepholz/Bremen-07 Sep. 15: artec technologies AG (ISIN DE0005209589), a
supplier of innovative professional network-based video recording and
streaming systems, is expanding their market share in Qatar by receiving a
large follow-up order from Qatar's leading news agency QNA (Qatar News
Agency).

Two years ago, artec had delivered a 200-channel Xentaurix recording
system. Now, this system will be upgraded and expanded to more than 400
channels. With this, artec delivers one of the largest realtime video
intelligence systems in Middle East, holding around 2 Million hours of TV
storage. Main reason for receiving this order was artec's solution for
Mobile TV. The new cross-platform H.264 codec enables content delivery to
any different mobile device as live stream or VoD.

Thomas Hoffmann, CEO of artec, states: "We are well perceived as a major
vendor of professional cutting-edge technology and custom software systems
in Qatar. This new major deal clearly consolidates and extends our market
share and helps establishing our brand throughout the Middle East."

artec's board is expecting a significant rise in orders from the Gulf
Region for this remaining fiscal year and even more in 2016.
