Follow-up order from Qatar / Lucrative contracts in near future through World Championship football cup 2022 expected

Diepholz / Bremen, Germany,17-Nov-11 – artec technologies AG (ISIN DE0005209589) a leading manufacturer of network-based video surveillance systems – as well as broadcast transmission confirmation and IPTV systems – has received an extensive follow-up order from the Qatar News Agency (QNA). The contract provides for the expansion and further modernisation of a TV/radio evaluation system which is already one of the most modern in the Arabian world. The contract totals an amount of Euros in the lower six digits.

artec’s has been collaborating with the QNA since 2007. The system which the news agency is presently using was delivered by artec at that time and has been consistently updated ever since. Using artec’s solution,over 30 editorial desks at the Qatari agency daily evaluate 200 TV and radio stations. Specific criteria are used for analysis and commentaries, the generation of video clips, and the delivery of those clips to the responsible organisations as well as their publication in media centers.

Hoffmann also sees great promise in the World Championship football competitions scheduled in Qatar for 2022. ‘We anticipate a wide range of open competitive bidding on a variety of interesting projects. In addition, we are confident of obtaining a number of large-scale contracts in the immediate future, especially from the United Arab Emirates,’ Hoffmann concludes.
