COMPLETION OF FAIRFAX SALE OF 96FM TO APN

SYDNEY, 30 January 2015: Fairfax Media Limited [ASX:FXJ] today announced the completion of the sale of its Perth-based radio station 96FM to APN News & Media Limited [ASX, NZX:APN] ( APN ) for cash consideration of approximately $78 million.

Fairfax Media announced on 22 December 2014 that it had entered into an agreement to sell 96FM to APN, subject to regulatory review. All conditions precedent have now been satisfied.
