APN COMPLETES ACQUISTION OF PERTH RADIO STATION 96FM

SYDNEY, 30 January 2015 – APN News & Media Limited [ASX, NZX: APN] today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Perth radio station 96FM from Fairfax Media.

96FM will be integrated into APN’s Australian Radio Network (ARN), completing a five capital city offering and making ARN the number one Metropolitan Radio Network in Australia.

APN chief executive officer Michael Miller said: “The acquisition of 96FM is important for ARN as it looks to secure a greater share of the national advertising market.”

The $78 million acquisition, which was initially announced on 22 December 2014, was funded by cash and existing debt facilities.
