F1: This amendment to the Form 4 originally filed on July 18, 2005 (the "Original Form 4") amends and restates the Original Form 4 in its entirety and is being filed to report the dispositions by the reporting person of Targeted Genetics Corporation stock on July 14, 2005 and to correct the amount of Targeted Genetics Corporation common stock beneficially owned by the reporting person. The Original Form 4 inadvertently did not include the dispositions of Target Genetics stock on July 14, 2005 and, by doing so, overreported the reporting person's beneficial ownership of Targeted Genetics Corporation common stock by 25,000 shares.
