METALICITY STRENGTHENS BOARD AND MANAGEMENT

Metalicity Limited (ASX:MCT) (“MCT” or “Company”) is pleased to report that it has appointed current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mr Justin Barton, to the board of the Company as an Executive Director (Finance Director) effective from the 1[st] January 2018.

Mr Barton is a Chartered Accountant with over 19 years’ experience in accounting, international finance and M&A in the mining industry. He worked for over 13 years in the Big 4 Accounting firms in Australia and Europe and advised many of the world’s largest mining, oil & gas companies and financial institutions, including Rio Tinto, Chevron, Macquarie, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. Justin also worked for 4 years at Paladin Energy Limited as Group Tax and Finance Manager and advised on their plant construction and mining operations in Africa and their expansion into Canada. More recently, he has worked as the CFO and been a Board Member of a number of junior exploration companies. Mr Barton is currently a Board member of Interposed Holdings Limited.

Current Non-Executive Director Chris Bain has informed the board he wishes to step down from the board of Metalicity to pursue other business opportunities in the resources sector. Mr Bain was a founding director of Metalicity, instrumental in the acquisition of the Admiral Bay Zinc Project, funding agreement with Resource Capital Funds (RCF) and other exploration and acquisition activities for Metalicity.

Metalicity Chairman Andrew Daley commented:
